Yad Vashem Announced the Selection of Participants for a Training Course on the Holocaust History E-mail


Yad Vashem International School for Holocaust Studies with the support of the charity fund Genesis, offers a virtual course There is no more terrible memory History of the Holocaust (Shoah).
The course starts on March 17, 2015.
After completing all tasks and preparation of the final work, participants will be issued a certificate of successful completion of a course at the Yad Vashem International School for Holocaust Studies.


Virtual course History of the Holocaust (Shoah) covers the following topics:
The Jews of the Soviet Union and annexed territories in the period between the two world wars.
The development of anti-Semitism in Europe and its importance in Nazi ideology.
The Third Reich, the establishment of the Nazi state.
Nazi anti-Jewish policy in 1933-1938.
Ghetto during the Second World War.
The Holocaust (Shoah) in the occupied territories of the Soviet Union.
Development of the final solution of the Jewish question: Operation Reinhardt the creation of extermination centers.
Nazi camp system and their role in the final solution.
Participants of genocide.
Jewish resistance during the Holocaust (Shoah).
Righteous Among the Nations.
The end of the war and the return to life.
Lessons will be issued once every two weeks. Each lesson is accompanied by additional material: articles, documents, photographs, as well as the tasks, consisting of two or three questions.
The final work
At the end of the course, participants will be required to submit a written plan for educational or social class, up to ten pages. Examples of curriculum can be found on educational and informational site about the Holocaust:

End of the course is considered successful when the participant completes all the tasks and presents the final work.
